God has given us many gifts, and although He calls us to serve others and lay our lives down to partner with Him in seeing the reality of Heaven established here on Earth, we are also supposed to enjoy the journey! Our jobs, our families, our health, our church community: these are just some of the gifts God has given us. Whilst worshipping Him with them, we can enjoy, have fun and find happiness from them too! Doing so is an expression of faith that He is who He says He is, our loving Father.

Matthew 6:19-21 says, “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” We all have things in this life that we treasure.
