Credits are PraiseCharts' very own currency. After you purchase credits, the prices will convert to credits. A lead sheet that was $5.52 is now 2 credits, a click track that was $6.24 is now 2.5 credits, etc. Diamond credits are required for orchestration purchases.

Frequently Asked Questions

The reason we can offer significant savings with our Prepay & Save plans is because your credits expire after 12 months. That means that you should only buy as many credits as you will need in the next year. If you run out of credits before 12 months, you can easily buy more. Keep in mind that even if you only use 80% of your credits, you are still saving with the songs you got, compared to paying the full price for these songs. The Prepay & Save plans are designed to offer enough savings that you can have the freedom to download more songs than you really need and still save. Sometimes, it is better to have more music on hand than not enough. Prepay & Save gives you that freedom.

Yes and No. It depends on how you are buying credits. We now have a few options:

Credit Bundles - These are the classic packages. You pay up front for a bundle of credits - all of which are delivered to you immediately. You have 12 months to use these credits. At the end of the 12 months, if you buy another set of credits, we roll over any leftover for an extra 6 months. You probably used most of them, but in case you have a few remaining, we give you a little bit longer to use them. However, if you do not buy more credits, any remaining credits expire at the end of the 12 months.

Credit Subscriptions - These are monthly recurring subscriptions where you pay each month and the credits are released to you each month, instead of in one big bundle. Each month's set of credits expires 12 months after it lands in your account giving you a full year for each deposit of credits. These credits do not roll over.

Credit Top-Ups - In case you need just a few more credits one month, these top-ups allow you to buy an additional set of credits that will help carry you until your next deposit of subscription credits. The top-up credits have a 12 month expiry unless you cancel your recurring subscription. These credits do not roll over.

You only need Diamond credits if you plan on buying full orchestrations regularly. Gold credits are worth the same as Diamond credits. However, you cannot purchase full orchestrations with Gold credits. If you have Gold credits, you can still buy orchestrations with cash. If you have Gold credits and decide to buy Diamond credits, your Gold credits will convert to Diamond.
