Jake Fretz is a singer/songwriter creating contemporary anthems that lead others in inspirational and congregational worship experiences. His passion and energy for God’s kingdom are contagious, and Jake’s music inspires others to revel in the presence of God.
As an independent artist, Jake released his first single Christmas of 2019. Since then, Fretz’s music has continued to gain attention and momentum. Jake’s 2021 release, HERE COMES THE KINGDOM, was the #1 song added to Canadian Christian Radio summer of 2021, and spent 9 weeks on the Canadian Christian Radio TOP 30. That same year, Jake also received a nomination for the Western Canadian Music Award - Spiritual Artist of the Year.
In 2022, Jake’s follow-up release, LOOK UP, lived on the Canadian Christian TOP 30 charts for 18 weeks, and that same fall, Jake received 4 GMA Canada Covenant Award Nominations: “Breakthrough Artist of the Year”, “Worship Song of the Year”, “Canadian Christian Song of the Year’, “ Seasonal Song of the Year”. To date, Jake has shared the stage with artists such as Unspoken, The Color, J.J Weekes, Manic Drive, and Elias Dummer
Beyond the stage, Jake’s heart is equally passionate about the local church. Much of Jake’s music is crafted and refined in the church community where he pastors, Prairie Alliance Church. Ultimately, every song is an anthem celebrating this community's experiences of God.
