About
The Porter’s Gate was founded to help worship leaders respond theologically to the pressing questions of our times through the writing of new worship songs and the creation of new liturgical resources. “We wanted to release as many songs as we were able to record for use by churches in a time where worship leaders are looking for songs and liturgical resources that give expression to the unusual and troubling circumstances of 2020 that our congregants and neighbors are experiencing,” explains co-founder Megan Wardell.
Some collaborators are familiar from past projects: Liz Vice, Sandra McCracken, Latifah Alattas, Paul Zach, Jessica Fox, IAMSON, and John Swinton. There are also a few new faces including Matt Maher, Jon Guerra, Brian Nhira, and Taylor Leonhardt.

This is as up-to-date as it gets. If a new song hits the airwaves and it starts trending fast, chances are you will be able to spot it here. If an old song suddenly spikes because of a unique current event, you'll see that here as well. So get out a bag of popcorn and hit refresh every 10 minutes to watch the race. Listen on Spotify.

Your pianist wants as few pages as possible to have to flip while playing, so we took away the vocal staff so you don't have to use scissors and tape to do it yourself. The two staves of the scored piano part, with just a few vocal cues, keeps this part easy to manage while providing the fully noted part your piano player needs. These piano parts are the exact parts found in the piano/vocal charts... just without the vocals. Need the vocal charts as well? Check out the Piano/Vocal Packs.

Not everybody can play and sing by ear. These charts help take out the guesswork for your vocalists and piano player - as long as they can read music! Even if you don't take these charts on stage for live worship, they are a great resource during rehearsals to help solidify what everyone should play and sing in order to come out with a great sound in the end. You'll find many individual instrument solos available for download. These are great to have when practicing your instrument, during personal worship time, or during a special church offertory moment or special Easter feature. Download the instrument solo, and play by yourself or accompanied by the piano.
