Doing so is an expression of faith that He is who He says He is, our loving Father.

When anything else becomes our greatest desire it becomes the object of our worship and there is none more worthy than God Almighty. Nothing else can satisfy. David so beautifully said in Psalm 73:25 (ESV)…“Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.”
