Angeo Basson is a singer-songwriter, worship leader and pastor with South African heritage who was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. A gifted musician from a young age, he learned piano and drums before pursuing ice hockey at an elite level, playing competitively across North America and internationally. While on a path toward a potential professional hockey career, Angeo sensed God’s call to ministry and chose to surrender that dream to follow God’s greater purpose for his life. Today, Angeo serves as the Associate Pastor of Local Ministries in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and is pursuing a master’s degree in Christian Leadership through Liberty University Online. Whether leading worship, writing songs or serving his community, his passion is simple: to make Jesus known through his ministry, while seeing lives transformed through Him.
