Lari Goss was a renowned arranger, composer, and producer in the Southern Gospel music industry. He was born in 1945 in Cartersville, Georgia, and grew up in a musical family. He started playing the piano at a young age and went on to study music at Carson-Newman University.

Goss worked as a studio musician in Nashville before joining the Bill Gaither Trio as their pianist and arranger in the 1970s. He went on to become one of the most sought-after arrangers in the Southern Gospel music world, working with artists such as The Cathedrals, The Oak Ridge Boys, and The Hoppers.

Throughout his career, Goss won multiple Grammy and Dove Awards for his work. He also served as the Music Director for the National Quartet Convention and was inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2012. Goss passed away in 2015, leaving behind a legacy of exceptional musical arrangements and productions.
