About
Husband. Father of two boys and two girls. Singer. Songwriter. Storyteller. Sharer of God’s Word.
It was when Jordan St. Cyr served with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) as a teen that he found the inspiration to pursue music as a career. He eventually released an EP, and in the years that have followed, he has received numerous and life-changing opportunities to work alongside so many talented songwriters, producers, and artists, all who have encouraged him along his journey. From playing numerous events of all sizes and meeting people from many different walks of life, humanity’s deep desire for meaningful connection has been revealed to him and the hope to find something more vibrant than our current reality.
Now in 2022, after releasing more music along the way, Jordan St. Cyr is set to debut his first full-length album with BEC Recordings. The self-titled ten-song project will release on March 4.
Two of the songs featured on the album are "Fires" and "Weary Traveler," both of which offer a pursuit of hope, even in our darkest moments, to know that God gives us stories to share and encourage one another through our fires and weary travels, to give us strength in the midst of them.
It was last year when “Fires” hit the airwaves on major networks and stations for nearly 18 months straight, reaching millions weekly and hitting top 5 at radio. “Fires” was followed by “Weary Traveler,” a poignant song for these uncertain times, and which has already hit No. 1 on the charts for multiple weeks.
While he’s been creating music and touring, sharing his message with others for a long time now, Jordan St. Cyr is really just getting started.
“God has walked my family through so much these last few years and this album is the culmination of those experiences,” Jordan shares about the new project. “We’ve been gifted a deeper understanding of what pain and suffering can bring about, and I believe this album’s message is a gentle reminder of our desperate need for a faithful God. No matter what our current reality is, we can know with assurance that the present-working power of Jesus is with us every step of the way.”
He continues, “My prayer is that these songs would bring comfort and joy to those who hear them. I pray that listeners would be more hopeful and open to the depths of God’s love for them knowing that their circumstances are not a reflection of how God feels about them. Rather, that their circumstances would reveal the closeness and nearness of the Holy Spirit.”

Remembering who God is, His faithfulness in the past, and His promises for the future gives us the confidence to trust God with what's happening right now. We are still human. We still live in a sin-filled world filled with loss, hardships, doubt, stress, and fear. The difference when we face each day with Jesus is that we have the ability to experience joy, peace, love, and security even in hard times.
