About

When Brooke released her debut album, ‘Found In You’ (rel. Dec. 5, 2016), she didn’t know what to expect; she just knew she had songs she needed to share. What she quickly realized was that the album was going to establish her as a writer and artist who could hold her own, and open touring opportunities with some of the industry’s leading artists. That first year of Brooke’s career culminated in her being named the New Artist of the Year and the Female Vocalist of the Year at the Canadian Gospel Music Awards. Fast forward to 2019, Brooke released her sophomore album, ‘Pursue’, to even more critical success. The album’s eponymous lead single charted Top Ten at Canadian Christian Radio and was awarded Inspirational Song of the Year at the Canadian Gospel Music Awards. The second single, ‘Turn My Eyes’, was streamed over 600,000 times on Spotify and was named Praise & Worship Song of the Year at the CGMAs. Most incredibly, ‘Pursue’ was nominated for Christian/Gospel Album of the Year at the 2020 Juno Awards alongside the biggest names in Canadian Christian music.

Now, poised to share new music for the first time in over two years, Brooke feels like she can write her own future. Having proven herself as an artist and risen to the top of her genre, Brooke feels permission to take risks. With her new album, ‘Glory To God’ (rel. Fall 2021), Brooke will not only showcase the best songwriting she’s ever done, but it will also be her most ambitious project to date: a double album, featuring six songs done in both live and studio versions. Lyrically, the songs are authoritative in a way that Brooke has never been before. Songs like ‘Glory To God’ and ‘Be Exalted’ feel like the ancient hymns of the Church that transcend generations, while songs like “Enough” feature the personal reflection people have come to love from Brooke’s writing.
