Andrew Marcus is a 2x GMA Award-winning singer/songwriter/worship artist based in Vancouver, British Columbia.  His last album Constant features 7 songs written with artists including Paul Baloche, Leeland Mooring and Ed Cash.  His first radio single You Are With Me hit #1 on the worship charts and has been sung in churches around the world.  The album was produced by Scott and Ed Cash in Nashville, TN (producers of Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, David Crowder Band, Leeland, and many others). Andrew has had the privilege of sharing the stage with Mercy Me, Leeland, Phil Wickham, Starfield, Manafest, and many others. His latest single Take All Of Me was penned during his church staff retreat before their evening time of worship and prayer.

“I wrote Take All Of Me as a prayer a few years ago at our church staff retreat. We were planning to have our last evening session of the retreat where we were going to come together to pray and seek the Holy Spirit. Before our session, we had some free time to rest, read, pray, and explore the beautiful campground we were staying at. I kept feeling in my heart that I was supposed to spend my free time seeking the Lord with my guitar. It was during that free time where I wrote this prayer for our staff team. I was all set to lead worship that evening for our last session. I typed the lyrics out on Pro Presenter and added them to the list of songs I was planning to lead that night. Right before the session started, I thought to myself that there was no way this song was strong enough to show anyone. All of the sudden, the doubts started flooding my mind. The session started, and I kept doubting. I ended up not leading the song. In fact, it took 2 years before I actually introduced the song to our church family. I was consumed by fear. What if this song isn't good enough? What if no one responds? Even when it came to finally release this song, there was this sense of fear. I had this song recorded, mixed, and mastered for a year before I finally had the courage to release it. Once I introduced it to my church family, I wept at the response. Everywhere we share this song on the road, God does something so special in the room. I pray this song inspires you to surrender daily to Christ and make room for the presence of God to move in you and through you!”

With six critically acclaimed recordings to his credit, including his BEC RECORDINGS debut album Constant featuring writing and vocal collaborations with Leeland and Paul Baloche, Marcus continues to write songs for the Church.

Andrew is currently working on a few projects including a new full-length album and a 5 song french EP project (translated by the amazing Leadworship.com ministry). The album will include 5 songs from the album Constant, including the radio single Tu Es Avec Moi (You Are With Me). When he travels, Andrew’s passion is helping coach and train the next generation of leaders within the Church by having team nights and training workshops. Andrew is currently completing his first book to help equip songwriters and worship leaders within a church setting. He has also released a series on PureFlix called Sharing the Road, an entertaining resource where he drives around different cities with influential artists and producers to talk about life, music, ministry, and tips on leading worship!  Andrew is currently serving as the full-time Music Pastor at CA Church in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
