Matt is a songwriter and producer from Buffalo, NY, who moved to Nashville, TN in 2003 to pursue songwriting in the Christian market. His songs have been recorded by Casting Crowns, Passion, Bethel Music, Josh Baldwin, Jesus Culture, North Point Worship (“Abundantly More”), Ellie Holcomb, Zach Williams, Sanctus Real (“Confidence” – RIAA Certified Gold), I AM THEY (“Scars” – RIAA Certified Gold), Cochren & Co. (“One Day”), among many others.

Matt experienced his first No.1 song at Christian radio with Chris Tomlin’s “At The Cross (Love Ran Red).” His lyric idea, “love ran red,” provided the inspiration for the title track of the GRAMMY nominated album. He resides in Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, with his wife Kate and their sons Samuel & Hank.
