About
After graduating from college with a degree in Theory and Composition, Dave Ayers taught instrumental music in public schools for three years, working with 4th grade through high school. He has toured with sacred and professional music groups for 9 years, did studio recording, played trombone with many name artists, and has been a music director/worship leader in several churches. His writing encompasses everything from “Top Forty” to “High Church”, and everything in between. His goal is to write things that draw from all these extremes, that are musically interesting, unique, fun, and accessible to most players, and that most of all, honor the Lord. He lives at home with his wife, a 2nd grade teacher, and their three musical children.
