RSS Feeds
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Simply stated, syndication allows someone to post content in one place, and have it automatically distributed to many readers and listeners through a defined network. Television and radio shows are commonly syndicated, where many stations can receive video and audio feeds from a single source. RSS allows anyone to create content in a syndicated format, and then have others subscribe to that content. The content may be displayed in feed readers (i.e. Google Reader) for personal viewing, or on web sites for public viewing. Find a more detailed description of RSS, see this Wikipedia article.
How To Use PraiseCharts RSS Feeds
You can use PraiseCharts RSS feeds in one of three ways.
- Subscribe to the feed for personal viewing in your feed reader. You can configure your browser to automatically insert the feed into your preferred feed reader when you click on the link under the RSS Feed column. If you don't have a feed reader, we recommend Google Reader.
- If you are more technically proficient, you can embed any of these RSS feeds into your web site, either as a complete page, or as a sidebar widget. Find more information on embedding content into your web site here.
- Subscribe to any of the PraiseCharts feeds by email. When you click on the Subscribe link, a window will popup, powered by Feedburner. Enter your email address, and then every time a new item is posted to that feed, you will be notified by email.
