As we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, we give thanks for and embrace the power of the Holy Spirit with the authority given through Christ! This is a list of orchestrations designed for your congregation as you declare and celebrate Pentecost!

God was close to us, because God wanted to be close. Even after we got into trouble with sin and separated ourselves from His presence, he pursued us. He never let us out of His sight. God rescued humanity over and over again. God is still claiming his people today, and doing it by moving in with us, being close.

We ask to be surrounded, and God sends His mighty waters to immerse us in love. This is our access, and this is our acceptance. It is the heavenly revival of river beds gone dry, awakening dried land through the flowing waters of new life. It is God's greatest desire to use us in this mission for renewal, and as He floods the earth with His presence, He appoints His children as the vessels of His truth. As we read through the founding of the church and disciples' ministries on earth, we can see that times were hard. Facing persecution, ridicule, and even death, the disciples cling to the hope of Jesus and his return to help them overcome these difficult times. We can also have this hope through our difficulties. Jesus gives his Holy Spirit to those who believe and follow him. We can have strength to overcome trials knowing that God is with us. We also know that one day Jesus will return and those who follow him will be united with him. These songs and hymns show how we can persevere in difficulty by focusing on the hope we have in Jesus and that one day he will return.
