The New PraiseCharts Is Here

Posted on November 17, 2020

Finally we are ready to introduce you to the new PraiseCharts. In many ways, nothing has changed, even though everything looks new. We want worship leaders to find great songs and download rock-solid charts -- all within seconds. We are now ready to deliver on that, better than ever!

The new design prominently features more than a hundred lists, created to help our users explore song collections in various genres, styles, and themes. If you like Spotify, you'll love the new PraiseCharts!

Currently, PraiseCharts is fully functional in the new and old sites. As you go deeper into the new site, here are a couple of tips:

  • Search - Our search is now more forgiving with spelling "mistkes" ...whether you leave out a letter or misspell a name. For example, if you search for Francesca Batticelli instead of Francesca Battistelli, you will still get the desired results. As well, you can search for album titles, themes, and phrases! A search for goodness will give you the songs with goodness in the name as well as the theme list of Songs about Goodness. Try searching 'top songs' or 'songs about' and see what happens!

  • Explore - Here you will find a plethora of lists that group songs by top lists, themes, or genres. And when you click into one list, it gives suggestions for others.

  • Song Lists - One list leads to another, leads to another. Song lists have additional lists suggested on the left/bottom of the page. Plus, if you are on a song page and looking for similar-type songs, be sure to check the "Featured In" lists on the left. The small number next to the Featured In list lets you know where that particular song ranks on other lists.

As you continue to explore, don't hesitate to let us know if you stumble across any trouble or oddity or if something doesn't work as expected. Remember, if you encounter any trouble, you can easily go back to the old version of PraiseCharts by clicking "Exit Beta Mode" at the bottom left of your screen. Then try entering the new site again.

We are eager to receive your comments over the next couple of weeks at www.praisecharts.com/feedback or feedback@praisecharts.com. Feel free to attach screenshots and links. We'll make sure any bugs that you find get addressed as quickly as possible.
