"The Carol's Story Collection"

The Carols' Story is a collection of well-known Christmas Carols arranged by the Dallas-area husband and wife team of John Wasson and Gail Wasson. The collection was commissioned by the Worship Ministry of Irving Bible Church. The goal in creating the arrangements was to present carols with old-world charm in a contemporary setting, and be usable by a capella choirs of any size. The carols were premiered in a live concert at Irving Bible Church by the church's Vox Humana Choir, and subsequently recorded by the same ensemble. The resulting CDs were given out en masse in the surrounding neighborhoods as an outreach tool; the CD was also utilized in a joint venture between the church and Evantell, a Dallas-based evangelistic organization.
