Encouragement For Worship Leaders

Chris Vacher | December 28, 2011 | Categories: Blogs | Tags: , ,

I had coffee this summer with a new friend who leads worship at another church in town. We had lots to talk about and our conversation quickly turned to our own worship teams – people who are incredibly committed, love the Lord, love to serve the church and overall a group of people who just have a ton of fun together.  We started talking about finding a way that we could gather worship ministry volunteers from churches all over our town More

Lead Worship Like A Boy Scout

Chris Vacher | December 4, 2011 | Categories: Blogs | Tags: ,

As a kid, my mom wanted to make sure that my brother & I had significant male role modeling in our lives since she was raising us on her own. Beavers, Cubs and Boy Scouts were a normal part of my life until I was 12 or 13 and I’ve got tons of memories of camping trips, earning badges, spending time with other kids my age and the constant reminders to be prepared.  Read More

My Baptism Setlist

Chris Vacher | April 8, 2011 | Categories: Blogs | Tags: , , ,

I tweeted earlier this week that every Sunday is special but there is something unique about baptism Sundays. I love seeing people “go public” with their faith and this past weekend was no exception. We were privileged to see 8 people from our church – young, old, male, female – share their story of how Jesus has changed their lives and it was a great celebration.  Keep reading More

My Experience With Beautiful Things

Chris Vacher, Michael Gungor | September 18, 2010 | Categories: Blogs | Tags:

If you follow Christian/worship music, then you are probably familiar with the name Michael Gungor. He has written songs that are being sung in churches all around the world – Friend of God, Say So or Wrap Me In Your Arms. You may know those songs and maybe you even sing them but, I promise, you have not heard the best of what Michael Gungor has to offer.
