What is CCLI?
CCLI stands for Church Copyright License International.
Legally, every time you photocopy music for congregational
worship, or project lyrics on a screen, you need
to have permission from the publisher of that song.
To lighten the administrative burden of churches
having to contact individual publishers week after
week, CCLI has established a blanket license membership
program. You pay them a membership fee, report your
download activity, and then they pay the publishers
accordingly on your behalf. More information is available
at www .ccli.cm.
Why don't you have
more arrangements from the CCLI Top 100 list?
In order to arrange a song and release it at PraiseCharts,
we have to secure a print license. For various
reasons, this is not always possible for songs
that show up in CCLI's Top 100 list?
Where did you get this
list from?
This list is available online through CCLI's
SongSelect program. SongSelect allows you
to have online access to the lyrics of thousands
of praise and worship songs for a low membership
fee.
How does this Top 100
list compare to your Top 25 list?
Our Top
25 list is purely based on download
activity at PraiseCharts.
It is calculated based on downloads from the
last 7, 30 and 365 days.
From the Guestbook ... "The arrangements are written at just enough difficulty for the accomplished musician yet will not intimidate the younger player. Thank you so much!" (David Tharp)
