Like a broken heart needs some mending, I need Yeshua! Yeshua!

“…Like a broken heart needs some mending, I need Yeshua! Yeshua!…”

We need Jesus. Even the most healthy and mature in Christ desperately need Jesus. Without Jesus I would surely die. Without Jesus my life would be miserable. The very thought of trying to live apart from His love and grace gives my heart great pause. As a result, I want to live my life broken before Him. This is not a sad, depressing way of living. It is one of abundant life. When I walk in brokenness I walk in honesty. When I walk in honesty I walk in intimacy. When I walk in intimacy I walk in victory. I have nothing hidden to weigh my heart and soul down! Sin leaves every human broken in some way. Every heart needs mending. I just admit it! It is that honesty that leads me to healing and to that abundant life.

In what ways can you walk in more honesty today? With yourself? With the Lord? With others? Take some time to unburden your soul today.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another,
and pray for one another so that you may be healed.
The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
