I will stand here unashamed As I proudly proclaim I’m a servant of the King who ever reigns! Jesus Christ is His name!

“…I will stand here unashamed As I proudly proclaim I’m a servant of the King who ever reigns! Jesus Christ is His name!...”

The older I grow physically and the more I mature spiritually, the more foolish my old way of thinking seems to me at this stage of the game! The shame that came as a result of my sin kept me from getting honest for far too long. The eradication of that shame has sent me soaring above all my past failures, present temptations, and stormy circumstances to a place of utter security in my identity in Christ. Coming to the place of faith where I am convinced I am who HE says I am has washed the shame away and left me standing bare naked in conscience. Knowing that even if I blow it 5 minutes from now will not affect my identity one iota sends deep flowing grace to my mind that gives me strength to face the temptations and circumstances and past head-on. I boast in my God and I proclaim His freedom to the captive unashamedly. He is my King. I am His servant. Others needs what I have…

What areas of your life do you still harbor shame over? What will it take for you today to allow the Lord to eradicate the shame? Seek Him to find your identity today!
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me
To bring good news to the afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives
And freedom to prisoners;
To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To grant those who mourn {in} Zion,
Giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins,
They will raise up the former devastations;
And they will repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
