I need Yeshua! Yeshua! Like a story needs an ending

“…I need Yeshua! Yeshua! Like a story needs an ending…”

For many years, due to my struggle with homosexual thoughts, I felt there was absolutely no hope for me. When one feels no hope, they have nothing to anchor their life to. I knew I wanted to be free but I just could not see how. I knew there must be a way out but I could not see the way. What kept me going and kept me from giving up completely was hearing the stories of others whom God had delivered from various bondages in their lives. Knowing God had taken others from bondage into freedom encouraged me that just maybe there was hope for me. I also remembered that King David had committed adultery and murder – yet is remembered in Scripture as being ‘a man after God’s own heart’! But what sealed my fate in the journey toward freedom was a simple little passage of Scripture that listed a number of sins and types of bondage and then went on to say that such were some of you! In other words, almost 2,000 years ago, people who struggled just like me were finding freedom! The same God that set those people free could set me free. I simply decided to seek Jesus and it was in that relationship that I found freedom. I can see the end of the story…but now I know how to get there!

What is the ending to your story? Do you know how to get there? Meditate today on what steps your journey toward freedom needs to take.
…do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor
homosexuals, nor thieves, nor {the} covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers,
will inherit the kingdom of God.
Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were
justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
