Announcing Changes To Our Orchestration Product

Featuring PraiseCharts Posted on October 2, 2010

This week at PraiseCharts as we launch our new website, we are also making an slight adjustment in our orchestration product.  We will no longer be producing the Worship Band Series and Praise Band Series separately, but instead we are rolling them into the same product, under the editorial oversight of Dan Galbraith.  There will now be a “Praise Band” level, which includes SAT Lead Sheet, SATB Piano-Vocal, rhythm section and brass parts.  Then beyond that will be the “Orchestration” level, which includes the horns, woodwinds, percussion, and string parts.  Some songs will be arranged at the Praise Band level, and some as the full Orchestration.  The Praise Band level will cost less than the Orchestration level, and anyone who purchases a Praise Band level chart which subsequently becomes an full Orchestration will get that Orchestration for free.  Our goal is to be able to offer more titles at the Praise Band level than we ever have before, and offer full Orchestrations for all the titles that are best suited for that instrumentation.

Also, we are excited to announce our EASY Band Series. Brad Henderson will be taking our most popular titles and creating a group of orchestrations geared toward younger players.  They will be based on the same vocal and rhythm arrangements as our current orchestrations, but written with a much easier difficulty level.  Our prayer is that this will enable even more instrumentalists to participate in their church’s worship ministry!
