Copyright Permissions

We know copyright compliance can be confusing, and we want to help you understand the ins and outs of copyright so you can honor the writers, artists and the publishers in the use of their music. PraiseCharts offers sheet music as a printable resource. However, having that resource only comes with a limited amount of copyright permissions. PraiseCharts encourages our users to use the services of Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) and Christian Copyright Solutions (CCS) to ensure maximum coverage in how they are using music resources in and around church ministry. Read below to get an overview of some of the main copyright licensing services that most churches will need. While the requirements may seems daunting and expensive, the services of CCLI and CCS definitely make it much more accessible for churches to comply with copyright requirements in a manner that is efficient and affordable. PraiseCharts has strategically aligned with those companies in order to ensure that the music we represent in our catalog has the best chance of being used effectively, appropriately, and legally.
