Gateway Church introduced their latest live worship album with a fresh take on an old classic, called the New Doxology.  Praise God from whom all blessings flow, praise Him all creatures here below.  I have sung this song since I was a kid, mostly as an offering of prayer before meal times at our Mennonite family gatherings.  The harmonies were always rich, and as a puberty-striving 12 year old, I just couldn't wait till the day when my voice would finally break so that I could sing the base line like my dad!  I have to say, I think that Gateway Church has done a remarkable job in bringing this classic hymn into the 21st century.  You feel connected to the past, connected to worshippers all around you, much less all around the world.  More than that, you just know the blessings of God abound when you sing this song. more
