If worship is a lifestyle, we must learn to express that life as we minister to others...regardless of what their particular struggle might be.

    Season or Storm?

As Christians, we are not above adversity. We go through hard times just like the next person. Our hope is that we go through that adversity with a Savior. Our very strength comes as we face the adversity with Him. As a worship leader, I must be willing to face the hardships of life with those I lead...and walk in it boldly and honestly.

    Should I Let Them Go?

We all face it as leaders in churches.  If you haven't, you will.  A member of your worship team reveals a hidden side to their life.  A side that involves a relationship outside of marriage, an unmerited living arrangement, or other unexpected life consequences.  What do you do in these situations?  How do you handle them when you feel unworthy every time you step onto the stage yourself?  It's not easy.  Ministry never is.

    Right Relationships

Ever since the dawn of PraiseCharts in 1998, Tracey has been the silent strength, standing behind Ryan (her husband), and faithfully raising their four children: Isaiah, Lydia, Matthias and Gabriel.  There is quite a story behind the early years of PraiseCharts, when Tracey pressed through a battle with severe depression that led her to nearly fatal consequences.  Now, you can hear Tracey's testimony online, as she shares her story at a Women's event at her former home church in Langley, BC. If you need hope, faith and encouragement to hold on during the rough times of life, this is a story worth listening to.

    Dennis Jernigan speaks about hope

    From Solitude to Community

"...When you are aware that you are the beloved, and when you have friends around you with whom you live in community, you can do anything. You're not afraid anymore. You're not afraid to knock on the door while somebody's dying. You're not afraid to open a discussion with a person who underneath all the glitter is much in need of ministry. You're free..." Henri Nouwen

    Seizing Your Dreams

I've discovered several items that has sharpened my focus on personal dreams, vision and goals. The first discovery is the insight of not sleeping through my dreams. The freedom of living our dreams is real life, as opposed to a nightmare of anticipated disasters and failures.
