Yesterday afternoon as we were chatting with Paul Baloche in the hotel lobby (while at GMA in Nashville, TN), I mentioned to Paul that I couldn't wait for another new album of songs to surface from him. He mention that while there is no album in the works at the moment, he felt like he had been birthing a new album all the same through his recent participation in Compassion Art. Martin Smith had invited Paul, along with 10 other song writers, to participate in this unprecedented song writer's collaboration. They had nothing to gain, and everything to give, with a vision to bless the world's poor with all the proceeds. You want to talk about a world summit worth paying attention to, this is it! Forget politics and power - this is how you change the world. Anyways, Paul really encouraged us to see if we could get involved. Naturally, we'd love to. We'll see what unfolds.Compassion Art song writers include: Paul Baloche, Chris Tomlin, Tim Hughes, Matt Redman, Darlene Zschech, Israel Houghton, Michael W. Smith, Graham Kendrick, Andy Park, Steven Curtis Chapman, Stu Garrard and Martin Smith.
