Kevin West
Hi, my name is Kevin West.
I’m the Worship Pastor at Mission
Hills Community
Church, in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA
(near Disneyland). My wife, Janelle, and
I have two great kids. We have been in ministry since 1999. During
this time we’ve had our ups and downs, but have seen God faithfully lead
us and others we’ve had the opportunity to serve with. As I
continue to go through life's experiences, those situations help shape the
framework from which I write songs. I hope you enjoy!

This song was written at a time of great
sorrow and pain. The song I started to write was sounding dark, which is not
who I am. I wanted to write a song from where I was at in that time, but
I also wanted it to be a song of hope. Our God Reigns is my way of saying that
God reigns in every season…even when your present situation seems to tell
you just the opposite.
