Hi, I'm Chris DiNaso. I’m the Creative Arts Director for Westbrook Christian Church in Bolingbrook, IL (just outside of Chicago). My wife and I have been part of this church since the start back in 1996. It’s been an amazing journey seeing all the great things God has done in our lives and especially the lives of people here. The joy of life is my wife of fifteen years, my four kids and writing songs that are easy to sing, biblical and Christ-centered. Everything else is gravy.
This song is all about the cross and the paradox of something so terrible but yet the most beautiful act of love the world has and will ever know. God chose to bring salvation to the world through the suffering of His son. For that alone our spirits should overflow with words of praise to bless His name.

I get goosebumps as soon as I hear Chris strum the guitar. He is simply amazing and so talented both vocally and insturmentally. This song really is beautiful in meaning and such a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for being an inspiration Chris!!!

Really lovely words!!! Very impacting- especially the verses. Seems quite singable also for congregational use..

Earnest. Nice arrangement. Very great to hear the vocals so easily in the mix. Doubling of the verse - really effective- especially when the harmonies come in. Worshipful and true. Easy chorus to sing. Great for a congregation. Another excellent Chris song! Bravo!
