Klaus Kuehn
Born in Germany, Klaus and his family emigrated to the United States
when he was a year old. By the time he was ten, the family had moved to
Canada and Klaus was actively pursuing Classical studies in piano. His
musical tastes and style was shaped by the music and passion of Keith
Green and other contemporary artists. Klaus encountered God in a
significant way at the age of 12. Through the influence of Godly
parents, Klaus, his older brother, and two younger twin sisters, were
raised in an environment that put God first. After
graduating high school in Canada, Klaus attended Christ For The Nations
in Dallas, Texas. It was during that time that worship became the
passion of his life. After graduating CFNI, Klaus married
Julie and they presently reside with their three children (Candace 12,
Aaron 3, and Olivia 1) in McKinney, TX. He has been
actively involved in leading worship both domestically and
internationally since graduating CFNI. From 2003-2005 he returned to
CFNI as the worship leader bringing the students into the presence
every morning. During that time, he recorded and produced both the
"Glorious" and "Overtaken" CD's. Recently Klaus has
partnered with Integrity Music to release a new recording "Glory". He
is the Director of Pure Worship Ministries and travels extensively

Lord, our nation is in a desperate place. We deserve the grapes of wrath spoken of in this song. We have turned away from you and worshiped the idols of pleasure, money, self and other religions. We mock You, Your Son and Your ways, calling evil good and good evil. We are a nation filled with violence, immorality, greed and unfaithfulness. Our schools refuse to acknowledge You as Creator and as a result, we have produced a generation of young people that search for identity through drugs, sex, gangs, even cutting and self-mutilation. God, our leaders have turned from You. We've denied our destiny and Godly heritage, refusing to acknowledge that You formed America for Your purposes. We've expelled You and Your laws from our schools, businesses, government and public places. But Lord, we believe that in wrath, You remember mercy and that mercy triumphs over judgment. So God, we cry out for your mercy and your love and grace. Please forgive us and send a great spiritual awakening to America. Lift the veil of darkness and deception off of us. Give us righteous leaders, God, and laws that honor you once again. Give us righteous leaders and laws once again. Send forth Your truth and light to America again. I have never enjoyed hearing this song so much. It really brings out our need for God and touches the spirit very deeply. This song is so anointed. I heard it on our radio in a small town this morning, and it was well worth the google search that took me a little while to find. Best version ever! Blessings.

When I first heard this song on the radio while I was driving in my car one morning, I got goose bumps and chills and became so emotional! This version is AMAZING! Let's get the word out! His truth is marching on!
