Tracey is the mother of four, wife of one -- or is that mother of five? Most people don't realize that PraiseCharts simply would never exist if it wasn't for her. There are many reasons why that is so, but most importantly is that she is the companion and soul-mate of Ryan Dahl, the founder of PraiseCharts. Ryan and Tracey served on staff in a number of churches over the years, and that is where Ryan discovered his pastoral heart behind PraiseCharts. For Ryan and Tracey, PraiseCharts is so much more than just a music publishing company. But to really know how that is so, you need to take the time to get to know Tracey, and the story she has to share.

Ever since the dawn of PraiseCharts in 1998, Tracey has been the silent strength, standing behind Ryan (her husband), and faithfully raising their four children: Isaiah, Lydia, Matthias and Gabriel. There is quite a story behind the early years of PraiseCharts, when Tracey pressed through a battle with severe depression that led her to nearly fatal consequences. Now, you can hear Tracey's testimony online, as she shares her story at a Women's event at her former home church in Langley, BC. If you need hope, faith and encouragement to hold on during the rough times of life, this is a story worth listening to.

Dear Tracey,
Thank you for sharing your story! Your transparency was riveting. And wow, there are some really interesting corollaries in my marriage with my wife. *We met as a part of the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship at the Eastman School of Music *I am the straight laced conservative Christian from southwest Michigan, and my wife is more of a wild girl from Chicago. *I have been a music pastor for 17 years…and my wife continues to feel like that ‘single parent’ going to church with children by herself. Thank you for sharing…and may Jesus Christ continue to give you and Ryan hope…and abundant life in for decades to come. Blessings, Dan Collison Worship Arts Pastor Wooddale Church |
