Kevin has been a worship leader in the local church since he was 16 years of age.  Majoring in Music Performance, he attended Truett-McConnell College, Belmont University, and Liberty University.

"Grace is very central to my ministry and my songwriting.  I've experienced more grace in my life than I will ever deserve!  More than anything, I want to bring a message of hope to the people around me.  There is no hope like that found in knowing Jesus."

In June of 2008, Kevin joined the family of writers here at PraiseCharts.  In January of 2009, he returned to his home state of Georgia after serving in churches out of state for almost 20 years.  This move brought him to Newnan, GA, where he now serves as the Worship Arts Pastor of SouthCrest Church.

Kevin has been married to Michelle Pledger since September 11, 1992.  They currently have no children.

How Do You Live A “Lifestyle” of Worship?

Kevin Pledger | June 5, 2008 | Categories: Blogs | Tags:

I’ve heard several worship leaders and authors use the phrase, “Worship is a lifestyle, not an event.”  The first time I read that, I thought, “Yeah!  Right on!  I agree with that one!”  But the more I got to thinking about it, the more I wondered how I could apply that to me.  What is a “lifestyle” of worship?
