What does PVG stand for?

PVG stands for Piano, Vocal and Guitars. It generally refers to an arrangement that has 3 stave: a treble clef on the top with the vocal melody and harmonies (drawn from the lead sheet), and then a separate treble and bass clef with the scored piano part. The guitar chords are written over top of the top treble clef. This kind of chart makes for a great all-around arrangement for a variety of instruments, including the pianist who does not play by ear, or read chord charts.
